Hoops Factory

Hoops Factory is intended for children grades K-4. All players welcome of various skill levels are encouraged to join in the fun: no experience wanting to try the game, intermediate, or players on traveling teams. The focus will be on skill development, building court knowledge, and developing a love of the game.

This program is funded by the Hastings Basketball Boosters. Kids participating Hoops Factory will also get free admission to all varsity games paid for by the Hastings Basketball Boosters with a paid adult chaperone.

Ages

Hoops Factory is for children in kindergarten - 4th grade.

When

Sessions and events will be held throughout the basketball season beginning with Try-It Nights in mid-September.

Where

Typically, Hoops Factory is held at Hastings Middle School. On occasion we may use other schools/parks in Hastings.

Sessions

Approximately 7-8 sessions will be held throughout the basketball season. In addition, special events and varsity dribbling presentations will be offered. No commitment to a specific number of sessions/events is required.

Cost

All Hoops Factory sessions and events are free to the participants and sponsored by Hastings Basketball Boosters.

Try-It Nights

Try-It Nights will be held at Hastings Middle School from 6-7pm on Tuesday, September 16th and Wednesday, September 17th. Kids are encouraged to join on either or both nights!

Who/What: Children in Grades K-4. All players welcome! No skill or experience necessary. This is an opportunity for kids to simply try basketball!

Cost: These sessions are free to all participants Hoops Factory is funded by the Hastings Basketball Boosters.

Goals: The purpose of this night is for kids to have a chance learning basic skill development, building court knowledge, and developing a love of the game.
