College Basketball Camps

There are many camps that are at local colleges. Some are overnight camps and some are day camps – there are so many opportunities out there. Below are some that we know about and some of our players have attended.

Boys Local Basketball Camps

Girls Local Basketball Camps

10,000 Shot Club

The 10,000 Shot Club is a summer tradition for Raider basketball players. The 10,000 Shot Club is a FREE club to join and it is for players entering 3rd - 12th grade (school year 2024-2025). The 3rd, 4th and 5th grade goal is 10,000 ATTEMPTS. The 6th-12th grade goal is the MAKE at least 10,000 shots from June 1st - August 31st. Players track their daily shots made throughout the summer. When the player successfully achieves taking/making 10,000 shots they should email their tracking sheet to Eric Weber. Players will be recognized on our Blue & Gold Nights in November and also receive a 10K Shot Club t-shirt and be in the annual photo.

AAU Leagues

AAU Basketball is another off-season opportunity for basketball players. These clubs are usually run by an entity that pulls players from a surrounding area, so it won’t just be Hastings players on your team.  While Hastings Basketball encourages off season development, we play no role in forming or promoting any AAU program/team.  Most programs hold tryouts in July/August or February/March to form teams for the following spring and summer seasons. If you know of more clubs, please send their link to us and we will add them to our list. Below are links to specific AAU sites:

Girls AAU Links

Girls programs (usually) hold their tryouts in July/August for the following spring season.

Boys AAU Links

Boys programs usually hold their tryouts in March. Some teams build their teams via recruiting and do not hold tryouts.
